Editorial Review: Horizon Organic Low fat vanilla milk provides a great-tasting and easy way to add calcium to your family's diet. They are available in low fat half gallons and quarts. Our milk is as good for you as it is delicious because it's produced with no antibiotics, no added growth hormones and no dangerous pesticides. Our cows eat only organic feed and have access to clean water, fresh air, organic pasture and exercise.
Buying by the box is great! 5 out of 5
My son loves this milk as a snack or in his lunch, but buying the individual cartons can be expensive. Amazon offers the box price and delivers on a monthly basis, it is great!

Both of my sons LOVE this drink. It is VERY sweet and sugary, so I serve it in a sippy cup, one quarter horizon vanilla and three quaters regular organic whole milk. They still get the yummy vanilla taste and not all the sugar!!!

My son loves these milks and we used to get them for him when we went to Starbucks. I was familiar with the Horizon brand and thought that the vanilla flavor would be fine. I began to notice a few times after drinking this he would say his tummy hurt or he would act sick(really tired) shortly after drinking them. I read the label and saw 29g of sugar...yeah holy cow!
When we serve him a flavored milk I give him Gerbers smart sips, they have vanilla and mild vanilla flavor with 11g of sugar, I think the mild vanilla has even less grams of sugar. He still loves the taste too! I find them in the babyfood aisle at the grocery store.

This is the most delicious milk. It tastes like drinking the best vanilla pudding you ever had, but not too sweet. It has a very strong vanilla flavor. While it seems to be mostly marketed as a children's drink, we use it as a drink mixer with amaretto and it is wonderful. It was a great improvement to regular amaretto and milk. I'm sure it would be wonderful to substitute for regular milk in baking or in egg creams. The expiration on our last case was about 3-4 months, so it lasts a lot longer than regular milk.
